Arbor Day

The City hosted an Arbor Day Celebration on April 23. The rain held off and we were able to plant two trees with the help of Davey Tree Expert Company and the 4th grade students from Valley Park Elementary School. Alderman April Milne hosted the event and read the Arbor Day Proclamation. We were joined by Mark Gruber from the Missouri Department of Conservation that spoke on the importance of trees and conservation. We distributed saplings for the students to plant on their own.
The Celebration was a success and couldn't have happened without everyone's hard work. Thank you to all the participants.
