AT&T Installing Fiber Optic Lines in Twin Oaks, Work Rescheduled to Jan. 31

Update: The start for this project has been rescheduled to Monday, Jan. 31.

On Wednesday, Jan. 18, a contractor working for AT&T will begin the process of running fiber optic cable throughout the City of Twin Oaks. This project will take place over the course of the next several months and will allow the company to offer fiber optic internet service to Twin Oaks residents.

The project will occur in the public right-of-way and utility easements of properties along Crescent Avenue, Crescent Road, Golden Oak Court and Autumn Leaf Drive. The cable will be installed alongside the existing AT&T lines.

On Crescent Avenue, crews will be performing aerial work to install the new lines while the work on Crescent Road, Golden Oak Court and Autumn Leaf Drive will primarily involve underground boring. No driveways will be excavated as part of this project and no road closures are anticipated.

Prior to the work starting, the contractor will distribute contact information directly to residents for reporting issues. You can also contact City Clerk/Administrator Frank Johnson at fjohnson@cityoftwinoaks.com or 314-917-2425 for more information.

We apologize for any inconvenience this project may cause while it is ongoing.
