City Clerk

The City of Twin Oaks is currently seeking applicants for the position of City Clerk.  This full-time position is responsible for management of governmental operations, oversight of financial activities, and coordination of employees of the City. Current City Clerk/Administrator Frank Johnson has resigned effective Feb. 9th to take a position with the City of Glendale. 

The successful candidate will be an effective communicator, skilled in planning and administer municipal programs, and adept at fostering productive relationships with officials, employees, and the public. Desired qualifications include experience in administration of municipalities, or equivalent combination of training and experience. Missouri (MRCC) and/or national (CMC) city clerk certification a plus.

Salary is DOQ. Benefits include paid vacation and sick leave, LAGERS pension, paternity leave, and a personal stipend. Maintenance Worker

The City of Twin Oaks is currently seeking applicants for the position of Maintenance Worker. This part-time position (approximately 32 hours per week) is responsible for assisting the Maintenance Supervisor with the maintenance and repair of City park facilities and grounds, right-of-way, streets and equipment.

Candidates must be able to perform a variety of semi-skilled and skilled tasks in the repair and maintenance of streets, park structures and facilities, vehicles and equipment. The ability to perform manual labor for extended periods under adverse environmental conditions is also required. High school diploma or GED required, additional training at a vocational or trade school is preferred. Experience with public works, facility/grounds maintenance and/or horticulture is preferred.

The starting wage is $18 per hour. Benefits include paid vacation and sick leave, LAGERS pension, and a personal stipend.
