The City of Twin Oaks will lift some of the restrictions put in place to contain the spread of COVID-19 starting on June 29. This decision is based, in part, on new guidance for activities and businesses issued by the St. Louis County Department of Public Health.
Starting on June 29, the City will begin accepting reservations requests for the community room at City Hall and the pavilion at Twin Oaks Park. Gatherings at City Hall are restricted to no more than 40 people and attendees must wear face coverings and observe social distancing. To make a reservation or for questions, contact the City Hall office at 636-225-7873.
The parking lot and bathrooms at Twin Oaks Park will also reopen on June 29, but the playground will remain closed. We ask that visitors to the park observe social distancing guidelines and wear face coverings when entering the restrooms, which will be cleaned and sanitized daily.
In addition, the City will resume allowing in-person public attendance at the meetings of the Board of Aldermen and committees. Individuals will be required to wear a face coverings when entering City Hall and to maintain appropriate social distance. The City will continue to stream public meetings online via Facebook Live to allow for virtual attendance.
The staff, mayor and Board of Aldermen of Twin Oaks thank you for your cooperation and understanding during this difficult time. If you have any questions, please call 636-225-7873 or email City Clerk Frank Johnson at [email protected].
