Safety Improvements Completed for Meramec Station Road

The City of Twin Oaks recently completed restriping a portion of Meramec Station Road with the goal of providing enhanced safety for pedestrians and motorists. 

The work involved restriping the shoulder on the southbound lane of the roadway, adding several crosswalk markings and expanding the width of the shoulder in several locations.

By increasing the visibility of the shoulder and crosswalk areas, these enhancements will provide better pedestrian access from Crescent Avenue and Twin Oaks Park to the Big Bend Square Shopping Center and the Villages of Twin Oaks apartments. 

The project cost a total of $6,627 and is part of the City's regular efforts to maintain the roadways within its jurisdiction.
