Third of July Fireworks Display Returns on Sunday, July 3

The Twin Oaks Board of Aldermen is pleased to announce plans for a special weekend to celebrate the Fourth of July this year with events planned for Saturday and Sunday. 

On Saturday, July 2, the Twin Oaks Presbyterian Church will host its annual car show from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Admission is free to this event, and food and refreshments will be available for purchase with the proceeds to benefit the Twin Oaks Christian School 8th grade class. Later that evening, the City will host a concert in Twin Oaks Park from 6:30 to 9 p.m. featuring Laytham and Holmes. 

The City will stage its traditional fireworks spectacular on Sunday, July 3, at 9:15 p.m., with a DJ providing musical entertainment in the Park from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Please note, as the fireworks show is occurring on a Sunday this year, no advanced set up to view the fireworks is allowed prior to 1:30 p.m. on the Twin Oaks Presbyterian Church property.   

The fireworks display was originally scheduled for July 2nd this year but was moved to July 3rd due to scheduling issues with the vendor. We apologize for any confusion this may cause. For questions or more information, please contact the city office at 636-225-7873.
