Twin Oaks Announces City Clerk Hiring

The City of Twin Oaks is pleased to announce the hiring of Frank Johnson to fill the position of City Clerk.

Johnson comes to Twin Oaks from East-West Gateway Council of Governments, where he served as the Community Engagement and Local Government Services Coordinator. He holds a master’s degree in public policy administration with a local government management emphasis from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.

“The Twin Oaks Board of Aldermen followed a very detailed process where candidates were rated based on ideal qualities determined by Board members,” said Mayor Russ Fortune. “Mr. Johnson was determined to be the best candidate based on the needs of Twin Oaks and his personal career objectives.”

A native of Decatur, Illinois, Johnson brings a wide range of knowledge and experience to his role, including expertise in the fields of communications, municipal operations, public involvement, and transportation planning. He has been an active member of several professional organizations that serve local governments in the region, including the Missouri City Clerks and Finance Officers Association, the St. Louis Area City Managers Association and the Municipal League of Metro St. Louis.
