On June 4, Missouri Gov. Mike Parson signed Senate Bill 631 into law, which authorizes mail-in ballots for the August 4, 2020 primary election and the November 3, 2020 general election to avoid the risk of contracting or transmitting COVID-19.

Registered Missouri voters can request mail-in ballots from their local election authority in person or by mail through Oct. 21. Mail-in ballots must be returned by mail in the provided envelope and received by Election Day (Nov. 3), with the statement on the envelope signed and witnessed by a notary.

To help assist our residents with submitting mail-in ballots, the City of Twin Oaks will make our notary available to the public for certifying ballots. To have your ballot certified, just visit City Hall during normal business hours and bring the proper identification.

Please note that this service is being offered on a temporary basis for Twin Oaks residents only and only for the purposes of certifying mail-in ballots. General notary services for other documents is not being offered at this time. If you have any questions, please contact City Hall at 636-225-7873. For more information on registering to vote, visit the St. Louis County Board of Elections website.
