City Hall to Reopen on June 1, Vehicle Access to Park Remains Limited

The City has updated the policies outlined below, please view this announcement for details.

Twin Oaks City Hall will reopen to the public on Monday, June 1, with a number of policies in place to ensure safe operations for employees and residents. Twin Oaks Park will continue to be open to residents and pedestrians, but vehicle access to the parking lot will remain prohibited until further notice.

The policies, which are outlined below, were developed based on the guidance set forth by the St. Louis County Department of Public Health in the “Business and Individual Guidelines for Social Distancing and Re-Opening” order issued May 8. The order may be found online at www.stlcornoa.com.

The City will enact the following measures in regards to business hours and operations at City Hall:

  • Frequently disinfect all high touch surface areas and any other areas frequently touched by visitors.
  • Provide face masks to employees. Face masks are required to be worn by employees working in City Hall unless the employee is working alone in an unenclosed area.
  • Conduct a daily screening of employees.
  • Limit the number of individuals in City Hall to no more than 20.
  • Provide contactless drop off and pick up for business transactions at City Hall.
  • Restrict visitors to City Hall during the hours of 8 to 9 a.m. to only individuals at high risk of experiencing adverse outcomes from COVID-19, as defined by the Centers for Disease Control.

In regards to facility rentals, athletic courts and Twin Oaks Park, the City is taking the following measures:

  • The City will not accept reservation requests for the community room at City Hall and the pavilion at Twin Oaks Park for dates before July 1, 2020. Reservations for dates after July 1 will be accepted but may be subject to cancellation if more stringent social distancing guidelines are reimposed.
  • The tennis and basketball courts at Twin Oaks Park will be reopened on June 15. Users of these facilities are asked to observe social distancing guidelines among non-household members and to sanitize any equipment between individual uses.
  • The playground and bathrooms at Twin Oaks Park will remain closed until further notice.
